HVAC MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST (JOB ID: 802)
This is a permanent position based in the main office on residential status under Field Operations Maintenance and Inspection / Engineering

Accountabilities

To support safe operations of HVAC systems.
Provide remote assistance and coordinate all HVAC trouble shooting and maintenance activities
Ensure efficient maintenance operations on aging facilities to sustain vital functions meanwhile preparing major overhauling to restitute a extended life span.
Activities
Drive an Incident Free environment / mindset within the Department and with all stakeholders
Promote and implement usage of conditional based maintenance technique within the HVAC field
Ensure that preventive Maintenance is aligned with HSE requirements.
Develop close liaison with offshore HVAC Technicians.
Provide technical assistance in the HVAC discipline
Develop Maintenance solution fit for duty

Approve SAP Work Orders, Purchase Requests within the Organisation.
Supply accurate technical clarification on what spares should be purchased
Develop scope of intervention for major preventive and on difficult corrective Maintenance
Review and challenge design of brown field modification and greenfield projects in term of maintainability.

Develop technical content of discipline maintenance operation to be performed offshore
Support development scope of execution for minor modification done by Maintenance
Review technical solution for major modification done by Engineer and Construction
Identify critical situations which may expose NOC to safety or production concerns
Analyse recurrent failure and issue solution to improve equipment reliability & availability
Promote cost awareness and innovation within his/her team
Provide technical assistance for the definition of specialised service company
Anticipate obsolescence, launch the needed upgrade engineering and stock replenishment
Participate in the spare part reviews, criticalities, stock levels and repare assessment.
Provide technical support as necessary in contract discussions.
Identify opportunities to improve contractor/supplier contracts, cost reduction and improved service.
Participate in Crisis Response Training and to assist during Emergency Response Situations if required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Vocational education in HVAC discipline
Experienced in the oil & gas environment
Significant knowledge of offshore plant and equipment
Sound level of expertise in HVAC Maintenance and HVAC operation, at least 15 years
At least 8 years of experience as an offshore HVAC Supervisor
Experience in providing remote assistance to field technicians
Hands-on in HVAC system refurbishment & R22 refrigerant replacement
Conversant with computerised maintenance and inspection management software (SAP module PM & MM)
Medically fit to travel to offshore oil & gas platform
Results driven approach and attitude.
Fluent in English (listening, writing and speaking) and its technical vocabulary
